We think it's important that they are recycled..
That's why diapers are collected free of charge from families and babysitters!
Let us pick them up and save both the environment and your wallet!


Diaperbag

You have received this diaper bag because you may have one or more children in diapers.
Collect your diapers, diaper pants, pyjama pants, swim diapers, diaper bags, and wipes in this bag.
You can use this bag in most diaper pails.
If you don't have any diapers, give the bag to someone else!

You need to know this!

The diaper bags are collected by us weekly.
Usually on Saturday or Sunday, but this varies by area.

The current locations where Verkleed collects the diapers:

  • Leiden
  • Leiderdorp
  • Voorschoten
  • Zoeterwoude-Rijndijk

We are looking into expanding to:

  • Oegstgeest
  • Warmond
  • Zoeterwoude-Dorp
Additionally, we can also be found at various events.

The diapers are collected by cargo bike; therefore, we unfortunately have to limit ourselves to the above-mentioned municipalities at the moment.
However, we are seeing more and more similar initiatives emerging.
If you live in a region where a similar initiative is known to exist, we can try to put you in touch with each other!

What happens to the diapers?

The collected diapers are processed into plastic, paper pulp, and biogas at ARN in Nijmegen.
